Cooperation between ESE and Ostfalia in Salzgitter

ESE and Ostfalia signed a cooperation agreement on May 6, 2023, as part of the celebrations to mark the 30th anniversary of the Faculty of Transport, Sports, Tourism and Media campus in Salzgitter. The cooperation is intended to promote the recruitment of young talent in Region 38.

ESE enables early connection to practice – and financing of studies

ESE is Ostfalia’s new cooperation partner for the “Industrial Engineering Mobility and Transport” (WMV) course. As a cooperation partner, ESE actively accompanies the students’ studies in the form of practical semesters, student research projects and bachelor’s theses. Students can also get to know everyday working life at an early stage through student traineeships and thus put their acquired knowledge into practice. In addition, they have the opportunity to finance their studies through regular work days and benefits at the company. This is particularly interesting for all those who decide to study again or pursue a career change into the mobility industry.

Industrial Engineering Mobility and Transport (WMV) – Developing tomorrow’s mobility today

The Bachelor’s degree program in WMV is dedicated to the challenges of existing and future transport and mobility services in individual and passenger transport. As an interdisciplinary degree course, it prepares students for the challenges of road, rail and air transport and focuses specifically on sustainable and digital mobility services.

It is possible to study at Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences even without a high school diploma. This means that interested parties who have completed a recognized apprenticeship, several years of relevant full-time employment, master craftsmen or technicians also have the opportunity to complete the WMV course.

“As ESE, we benefit from our interdisciplinary activities and our view across the various mobility sectors. We want to share this knowledge with the engineers of tomorrow today,” said Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Lars Schnieder on the signing of the cooperation agreement.
