Change in the management of ESE GmbH

Klaus Janz, founding member and long-standing spokesman for the management of ESE Engineering und Software-Entwicklung GmbH, will retire on February 1, 2022.

“I have come to the conclusion that being 65+ and having managed ESE for more than 24 years is a good time to turn over a new leaf – for ESE, but also for me personally. Over the years, it has been a matter close to my heart to represent ESE and the entire team. It has always been a great pleasure to support our customers in many exciting projects with ESE’s services,” says Klaus Janz. “I am proud of ESE and of the team, which combines so much expertise with so much commitment to the diverse technological tasks of our customers,” continued Janz.

The previous Chief Operation Officer (COO) Priv.-Doz. Dr.-Ing. habil. Lars Schnieder is the new CEO of ESE with effect from January 1, 2022. From February 1, 2022, he will represent ESE together with Paul Bethge, who will assume the roles of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

And Paul Bethge adds: “Continuing to manage the company in a customer-oriented manner in his spirit and cultivating the ESE culture of appreciation for our employees is both an incentive and an obligation for us”.
