ESE Engineering und Software-Entwicklung GmbH becomes a subsidiary of DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH
ESE Engineering und Software-Entwicklung GmbH (ESE) with its 330 employees strengthens the full-service provider approach of DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH with its extensive service portfolio of development and assessment of technical software and IT systems for the rail sector and other industrial customers. The change of shareholder will take place retroactively to January 1, 2020.
With over 5,000 employees, DB Engineering & Consulting is active in numerous Deutsche Bahn projects and international rail projects. “ESE combines rail and IT know-how and is therefore the ideal complement to our engineering expertise,” says Niko Warbanoff, CEO of DB Engineering & Consulting. “We are thus continuing to drive forward the digitalization of our company, offering our customers an even broader service portfolio and, above all, making a contribution to the implementation of the digital rail in Germany.”
“We have been successfully implementing fascinating projects and tasks in the field of intermodal mobility for years,” says Klaus Janz, Managing Partner of ESE GmbH. “The new owner will provide an additional tailwind for the development of our company.”
The following aspects are important in connection with the change of shareholder:
- ESE remains ESE: ESE remains an independent limited company. The familiar business model of ESE GmbH will be continued without restriction and independently.
- Continuity in management and projects: ESE’s familiar contacts will continue to provide their customers with loyal and reliable advice and support for the implementation of inquiries and projects.
