First stone laying for ESE campus in Braunschweig

On Friday, April 14, 2023, we celebrated the laying of the first stone laying for our new office building at Theodor-Heuss-Straße 9 in Braunschweig at the invitation of the Richard Borek Group.

The time capsule was worked into the foundation wall in the presence of around 70 invited guests, including the clients DMG Direkt Marketing GmbH & Co. KG, the architects KSP Engel, the general contractor Köster-Bau and Braunschweig’s Head of Economic Affairs Gerold Leppa.

Around 9,000 square meters of office space form the new home of ESE GmbH

With its main entrance and prestigious forecourt, the new building is oriented towards Theodor-Heuss-Strasse. From there, visitors enter the two-storey foyer with floor-to-ceiling, generous glazing via a central entrance. The communal areas on the first floor, such as the bistro, meeting rooms, seminar and lecture hall for the ESE Academy and the adjoining lounge, are also accessible from here.

Overall, the basic idea behind the office building is geared towards flexible working in the ESE. In addition to the modern offices and workstations, which can be flexibly adapted to individual requirements, the Braunschweig colleagues have terraces on the first floor and a roof terrace on the 4th floor. Changing rooms and shower facilities, charging points for electric vehicles, a large photovoltaic system and partially green roof areas round off the energy-efficient character of the new office building and its support for sustainable mobility.

Construction phase to be completed in fall 2024

All those involved in the project celebrated the start of the realization and construction phase with the laying of the foundation stone on 14 April 2023. Completion is planned for fall 2024. The relocation and consolidation of the current three ESE locations in Braunschweig at the end of 2024.
