New Managing Director at ESE GmbH

As of the start of 2025, Dirk Slodzinski (47) has been appointed to the Management Board of ESE Engineering und Software-Entwicklung GmbH (ESE GmbH). He replaces Paul Bethge, who left ESE on December 31, 2024. As Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), he will take over the commercial management of ESE and will be responsible for human resources and other central functions.

Dirk Slodzinski (47) was most recently Head of Mobility Consulting at DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH (DB E&C for short). He can look back on more than 20 years of professional experience in various functions within the Deutsche Bahn Group, including at DB Netz AG and DB Vertrieb GmbH.

As a business IT specialist who studied in Braunschweig, Dirk Slodzinski has numerous points of contact with ESE’s portfolio and expertise, particularly in the areas of rolling stock and rail infrastructure as well as in the automotive sector.
