UNIFE certifies ESE GmbH with the Silver Quality Performance Level

During the successful recertification according to the IRIS standard (International Railway Industry Standard), ESE GmbH received the silver certificate from UNIFE for its implemented and practiced quality management system. This puts the Braunschweig-based company in a pioneering role and makes it one of the few German companies in the design sector to be awarded the silver certificate.

With IRIS certification, companies can prove that they meet the high requirements of the rail industry in processes ranging from the identification, monitoring and control of customer requirements to the management of development projects and the procurement of products and services. The certification is known and recognized worldwide in the rail sector as an assessment method and makes it easier for companies to compare providers in terms of their compliance with the requirements of a quality management system.

The Silver Quality Performance Level is valid until April 2023 and will be re-awarded based on the result of the follow-up audit in 2023.
