Introduction of ETCS for non-ferrous and industrial railroads

The foundation of Digital Rail Germany is being laid with the fundamental modernization and digitalization of the infrastructure. The nationwide rollout of the European Train Control System (ETCS) and digital interlocking systems (DSTW) is setting the course for the future of the German rail network. Nevertheless, it should not be forgotten that a significant part of the German rail network has not been sufficiently taken into account.
